When was the last time you said the Lord's name (GD) in vain?
Have you ever stole anything in your entire life?
Do you desire something that does not belong to you {covet}?
What about Cussing, Lying, Hating, Cheating or just plain simple Lust?

So why do you still say,
"I'm basically a good person" ?

Why do you want to be a SLAVE to sin?

If the Son Jesus therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.
The Holy Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit,
that we are the children of God:

A Slave when he failed to please his master, there were fearful consequences that had to be faced. Born out of his slavish fear, however, was one security. When the master specified in detail all of his duties and the slave fulfilled them, he could feel some security and acceptance. It was a security through accomplishment and perfectionism, but the sense of security was always overshadowed by his fears of inadequacy. The slave could perform his service with no love, admiration, or oneness of purpose with his master. That is a spirit of bondage.

A Son serves his father out of a sense of belonging, acceptance, love, and unity of purpose with the father. This son knew that his security and acceptance were dependent upon his relationship rather than his ability and diligence to achieve. His confidence was in the unconditional love of his father. His service was in gratitude for the father's love and sustenance rather than to meet demands of specifics and quotas set by the father. This young man was free from the fears of inadequacy in performance and he was free to exercise himself creatively in a loving relationship expressive of love and joy. This is the spirit of freedom that sons may enjoy.

So What is the Cost?

As it is written,
Who knowing the judgment of God,
that they which commit such things
are worthy of death,
not only do the same,
but have pleasure in them that do them
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers,
how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

The Way Out of the Darkness!

As it is written,
For by grace are ye saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration,

How Does Jesus free us?

As it is written,
For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...

Quick study on Eph 2:8,9

Grace* is the "unmerited" favor of God. That means we do not deserve it and can do nothing to ever deserve it. Grace is receiving goodness from God because God is good, not because I'm good.

Faith* is more than just believing in God, But trusting God. Knowing that Christ's payment for my sin was sufficient. Believing that he died for me, and on the third day, He rose again. Just as he promised he would.

Not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God.* Gifts cannot be earned or they become wages. The moment you try to deserve the free gift of God, it becomes something you are trying to earn. Gifts are to be accepted with thanksgiving and gratitude.

Not of works;* If you have been trying to become worthy of Gods grace through works, STOP. Only through Faith in the blood of Jesus will you be saved. As a new creation in Christ, (born again of the spirit), God will give you the opportunity to join him in HIS work. And HE will receive all the glory and praise. "so no man can boast in himself."

Sons; * We all can be Free as sons!

Well..first off I want to say..that Yes..I do accept Christ "Today"..As I do accept Him everyday in my life and have now for over 35 years... He is my Rock and my Salvation without Him I could do nothing.. I have read alot of negative articles written to you about God and Salvation.. and I know that everyone won't believe...because the Bible tells us of this...but what I do know is that there won't be any atheist(sp!).. in Hell..they will all believe before they get there.. My Bible tells me that "Every knee will bow ..and every tongue will confess" that He is God and Lord of All.. but what does bother me about your site is the fact that you could be misleading people to believe that all they have to do to be saved is to read this prayer... You have to confess him before men..if we are ashamed to confess him before men..then He will be ashamed to confess us before God the Father..and also our work doesn't stop by accepting.. Yes, Ihave and I have before. I just keep going over more and more trials and tributlations that do not seem to stop. I had often felt that I was losing faith. I keep asking him for a miracle and was even questioning him as to why me? I have no money, no anything, but now I know that I have the love of our lord Jesus Christ, and my family. That's all that I have and that's all that I need. Please pray for me because I don't want to backslide again and again. My life has been successful in my work, but not in my family and financial life. I need all the help that I can get. I am tired of living a frustrating life, every day and every night, every minute of the day and night am I thinking of my problems and looking for solutions, and nothing comes, in fact when I think that I see a light at the edge of the tunnel, it closes on me. When I think that things are looking better, something else bad happens. I am so tired and exhausted of this. We won't even have a Christmas this year at all. My electricity, phone, water is about to be shut off, my rent was due and will soon be evicted. The IRS took my money, and my job would give me an advance, but yet I still have to work. It's like working for free, and I have to drive 80 miles round trip. I may even lose my car by tommorrow. No food in the house, no gas in the car. This might be the last day that I get to use this old computer on the internet. Please help me lord Jesus.

Hi,

Ro:9:15: For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Ro:9:16: So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

I would like to clarify my doubts about the above verses. Love breeds mercy. The above verse means that all do not fall under the purview of HIS mercy. Through His mercy we receive his blessing and miracle. Miracles are said to happen due to I) faith, II) when God decides to intervene without faith, prayer or fasting at all (mercy of God). Jesus would love to ask, “ Do you have faith”. Though faith is necessary But it is the sovereign Lord who decides. Though it is absolutely necessary to pray at all times because of the word of God says it. Similarly Gods word speaks the same for the above, mercy and miracle only for a selected few even though salvation is for everybody. Why would God choose directly Paul the murderer in the mist of many? It may be talked out easily that He wanted to say that he would consider anybody as follower or his Will .we must understand that his mercy is only for the selected, but love for everybody.

If there were a Jew and a gentile of both pristine in nature He would put the Jew much ahead of the gentile any day any time. Though Gods love is for everybody the measure differs and should be accepted as such. I also do understand that the Old Testament is specifically for HIS chosen people of Israel and the New Testament is for everybody as we are made one by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ISA:64:8: BUT NOW, O LORD, THOU ART OUR FATHER; WE ARE THE CLAY, AND THOU OUR POTTER; AND WE ALL ARE THE WORK OF THY HAND.

Ro:9:18: Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Ro:9:19: Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Ro:9:20: Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, why hast thou made me thus? RO:9:21: HATH NOT THE POTTER POWER OVER THE CLAY, OF THE SAME LUMP TO MAKE ONE VESSEL UNTO HONOUR, AND ANOTHER UNTO DISHONOUR?

When I read the book I accepted as it was. I thought lucky Paul the great vessel, Jacob the outcast , Moses (murder). Who would like to be an ordinary pot or even a broken one?? Or live a life of outcast to fulfill His will. Anyone would like to be a a David having every grace . When biological father on earth differentiates his children (though he loved everybody) I understand he is mundane but if God chooses be the same way to HIS OWN CHILDREN may be its HIS way of nepotism.

Mal 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Ro:9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

My question here again is God hates one person and loves the other (it is to be known they do not have inherited sins of their parents or if they had done they are equally shared) “though born of the same belly and even before they were born”. It may said it is for the will of God but why should he hate someone he created and someone who had not even set his foot on earth. It is said that Jacob demanded God to bless and said to have prevailed. Would God have blessed Esau had he demanded or even if he would have begged lying prostrate???? Definitely not…………………………….(because Gods words are such)

Who is there for the people like Esau, whom God hates for no mistake of theirs??? ? No one……… I really don’t know why people don’t talk or explain about this. We really don’t know till when his hatred will continue … death or after death.

I write this not in defaming the God because God is great and powerful. I do accept God as My father and Jesus as my Saviour. I also do understand that we must follow the rules of God whomever we are. What to do. I write this in order to have better clarity and understanding.
